Avago Technologies is a semiconductor company based in United States and is traded on NASDAQ. The company was founded in Singapore. Temasek Holdings and the GIC Special Investments have been long-term shareholders but have started the process of selling the majority of their shares in the company which started in 2010.
Temasek Holdings currently holds 1,455,741 shares as of October 13, 2011. Since 2009, Temasek has sold over 18 million shares or 80% of their stake. It held 12,440,675 shares before selling 2,675,121 shares as part of a stock sale in January 2011 (See table below) .[1][2] It held a 8.4% stake in the company as of December 31, 2009 which was worth $361 million and represented 19,729,734 shares. Temasek holds the stake though its subsidiary Seletar Investments.

GIC Special Investments currently holds a .4% stake or 970,493 shares.[7] It held 10,085,400 shares before selling 1,791,618 shares on December 10, 2010. Since then, the GIC has sold shares every few months. [8] The GIC holds their shares though their subsidiary, Geyser Investment Pte Ltd.
