Borealis is a major plastic manufacturing firm. The company has more than 40 years of experience in the polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) business, where they focus on pipe systems, energy and communications cables, automotive and advanced packaging markets.
Borealis is owned by the International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) of Abu Dhabi (64%) and by OMV Aktiengesellschaft, Central Europe's leading oil and gas group (36%).
