CIC blocked in Taiwan

After Lou Jiwei announced that the China Investment Corporation might invest in Taiwan, Chen Ming-tung, Chairman of Taiwan's China Mainland Affairs Council, said "Our rules bar mainland funds, including China's sovereign wealth fund, from investing in our capital market".
Currently, China funds are only allowed to invest in the island's real estate market, with the approval from the island's Ministry of the Interior.
