Cegelec S.A. is an electrical engineering company currently owned by Vinci. Vinci acquired the company after transferring a large share stake to Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company (Qatari Diar). The Qatari Diar took over the company on August 1, 2008 for $2.652 billion. Qatari Diar is a subsidiary of the Qatar Investment Authority. Qatari Diar bought the firm from LBO France.
