Emil Notti

Emil Notti was appointed to the board of the Alaska Permanent Fund in February 2007. He was previously the first president of the Alaska Federation of Natives, the past president of Doyon Limited, and a former Commissioner of the Department of Community and Regional Affairs. He is also a 30-year board member with the National Bank of Alaska and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was previously appointed by Governor Sarah Palin to be a Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, for Community and Economic Development, a position he'd also held from 1985-1986.
He graduated from Northrop University with a dual degree in aeronautical and electrical engineering, and also holds an Honorary Doctorate degree from the Alaska Methodist University.
