Etisalat is a telecommunications company based in the United Arab Emirates.
The Emirates Investment Authority owns 60% of the company. The stake was originally held by the UAE government until being transferred to the EIA in 2009.
Etisalat purchased a controlling stake of Zain in November 2010.
