Gulf Energy Maritime (GEM) is a joint venture partnership between Dubai's Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), Abu Dhabi's International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), Oman Oil Company (OOC) and Thales. GEM has assets valued at $ 1.3 billion. It was formed in 2004. The company currently has 14 ships.
