Hochtief is an industrial company based in Germany.
Qatar Holdings, a unit of the Qatar Investment Authority, purchased a 9.1% stake in the company in December 2010. Qatar Holdings is believed to have paid $540 (€400) million for the stake.[1] Hochtief has had a relationship with the QIA for quite some time; joining up with Qatari Diar to form a joint venture to develop Lusail development.
The Government Pension Fund of Norway held a 1.64% stake in the company as of December 31, 2009. The stake is valued at $88,011,479.
