PT Indosat Tbk is a telecommunications company based in Indonesia. It was established in 1967 as a foreign investment company. It is the second largest provider of wireless services in Indonesia.
40% of Indosat is controlled by Asia Mobile Holdings, which in turned in controlled by Qatar Telecom. Temasek Holdings owned Asia Mobile Holdings until they sold the holding company to Qatar Telecom in July 2008 for $1.8bn.
The Government Pension Fund of Norway held a 0.35% stake in the company as of December 31, 2009. The stake is valued at $9,633,454.
