Jane Kang Thorpe is Chief Legal Officer for the Qatar Financial Centre Authority
She joined the QFCA Authority in February 2006. Previously, she was General Counsel of the QFC Regulatory Authority, and General Counsel and Company Secretary of the Dubai International Financial Exchange responsible for regulation and exchange membership. She was Director of the Division of Clearing and Intermediary Oversight of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission before she moved to the Middle East in 2003.
