Jimmy Phoon is the incoming CEO of Seatown Holdings and senior managing director, special projects. He was at Temasek as Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer in Temasek Holdings until he left in the September of 2007 to join an investment company . He rejoined Temasek in August 2011 to take over the role of CEO of Seatown Holdings. [1]
He was with Temasek since 1999. He was appointed chief investment officer in December 2006 when he replaced Charles Ong, as a result of the political crisis that developed after Temasek took over the Shin Corporation.
