Libyan-Qatari joint investment fund

The Libyan-Qatari joint investment fund is an investment fund between the Libya Investment Authority and the Qatar Investment Authority. The fund has been initially capitalized with $2 billion. It is expected to make the majority of its investments in Libya and Qatar but will invest in overseas companies and property. Agreement was reached in July 2007 and it was officially launched in November 2007.
As of February 2010, the fund has not made any public investments.
