Menara Standard Chartered is a 42 story office building in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The building is owned by the ING Group. It was sold to ING by GIC Real Estate, a subsidiary of Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) in December 2008 for $90 million (RM328.35 million). GIC, through its affiliate Reco City Sdn Berhad, purchased Menara Shahzan Insas in November 2001 for RM135 million. Built in 1986, MSI is a 42-storey office tower with a total gross floor area of 46,700sm located in downtown Kuala Lumpur. The building was later renamed Menara Standard Chartered ("MSC") in July 2004 after Standard Chartered Bank decided to relocate its corporate headquarters there.
