Mong Duong II Power Plant

The Mong Duong II Power Plant is a power project in Vietnam. The plant will be coal-fired and expected to generate 1,200 MW when completed in 2015. The project is expected to cost $1.95 billion.
The China Investment Corporation, though its subsidiary Stable Investment Corporation have a 19% stake in the project. AES Corporation, which the CIC has a 15% stake, controls 51% of the project and is the lead manager of the project. POSCO Power Corp controls the remaining stake. [1]
