Murad Ali Murad is the current Chairman of the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, a position he has held since 2002. He previously served as the General Manager of the same bank, as well as chairman of some of its subsidiaries. He was also the chairman of Al-Khaleej Islamic Investment Bank, CrediMax, and BBK Financial Services Company.
He is a board member for the Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, the Bahrain Telecommunications Company, the Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company, the Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company, and is the Deputy Chairman of the Housing Bank. He has previously held board positions at the Deposit Protection Board, the Bahrain Stock Exchange, and the Economic Development Board. He was also the Chairman of the Bahrain Bankers Society and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ibn Khuldoon School in Bahrain.
