Olympic Village is planned development in London, United Kingdom. The development will be used to host Olympic athletes during the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. After the games, the development will be sold off for housing and commercial units.

Qatari Diar, a unit of the Qatar Investment Authority, joined a consortium to purchase the village after the Olympic games are over. The consortium, which consists of Qatari Diar along with Delancey, an investment group, and Triathlon Homes, paid £557 million for the development. The consortium will consist of 1,439 homes, in addition land that can be used to build an additional 2000 homes. [1] The consortium was granted the rights on August 12, 2011. The consortium submitted their initial bid in December 2010. [2]
