Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC is a regulated electricity transmission and distribution company. The GIC Special Investments Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), and Borealis Infrastructure Management took a 19.75% stake for $1.254 billion. Borealis is an investment arm of Canada's $52 billion Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System pension organization. The deal was completed on August 14, 2008.
