Orchard Energy

Orchard Energy was upstream oil and gas unit of Temasek Holdings until being sold in December 2009 to RH Petrogas. It was established in April 2008. The unit holds a production-sharing contract for the South Surnatra area in Indonesia. Temasek sold the unit for around $260,000. The sale makes a major turnaround for Temasek which was hoping to use the unit to invest in several projects for the long term.
Temasek still has stakes in several other energy companies.
