Pan-African Investment Partners II

The Pan-African Investment Partners II is a private equity fund that will invest in companies in Africa. It is managed by the Kingdom Zephyr Africa Management Company, which is a joint venture between Zephyr Management and Kingdom Holding Company. The fund was launched in 2008 and currently has $492 million. The fund has made three investments worth around $100 million. The investments are Thunnus Overseas Group, Mixta, and Buildworks.
Temasek Holdings invested $75 million into the fund in February 2010. This is one of the first investments by Temasek in Africa. Temasek holds the stake though its subsidiary Fernvale Investments(Mauritius).
