Paulson & Company resorts is a temporary name for five resorts that Paulson & Company, an investment fund, currently own. Paulson took over the resorts after all five declared bankruptcy in January 2011. The resorts include Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa in Maui, Hawaii, and the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami.
The Government of Singapore Investment Corporation attempted to purchase the resorts at bankruptcy court but had several setbacks during the process.[1][2]
