Philippines and Qatar fund

Philippines and Qatar is the planned fund between the government of the Philippines and the Qatar Investment Authority. The fund was announced in December 2008. The fund will have around $1 billion. The QIA will put in $860 million and the Philippines will contribute $150 million. [1]
As of December 2011, the fund has not been set up. A delegation from the QIA visited the Philippines in mid-March 2010 to work on details of the fund. Discussions continued in December 2011.
