Platmin is a platinum group metals producer based in South Africa and is traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Temasek Holdings currently holds 17.6% of the company. Temasek purchased $100 million in convertible bonds in March 2010. The bonds will originally scheduled to convert on December 31, 2010 but was delayed until March 30, 2011.[1] The bonds were converted at $.84 a share. Temasek currently holds 119,047,620 common shares though its subsidiary Ridgewood Investments. The stake will allow Temasek to nominate a member to the board of directors.
