Porsche is a major automobile company based in Germany.
The Qatar Investment Authority holds 10% voting rights in the company. [1] Qatar Holdings holds the stake for the QIA. It took the stake on August 14, 2009. The QIA also decided to join Porsche is acquiring a major stake of Volkswagen. The QIA acquired 17% of Volkswagen. The QIA is expected to increase their holdings in a planned capital raising by Porsche in early 2011.[2]
