Qatar Exchange

The Qatar Exchange is a joint venture between the Qatar Investment Authority and NYSE Euronext. The exchange was created out of the Doha Securities Market. In a deal that was announced on June 19, 2009, the QIA would control 80% of the exchange while the NYSE would control the remaining 20%. The NYSE sold 8% back to the QIA in December 2012.[1]
