Reserve for Future Generations Fund

The Reserve for Future Generations Fund is the second part of the Kuwait Investment Authority. The fund is used when the oil reserves declined or when needed by government such as during the Iraqi invasion in 1990-1991. Each year, the Kuwait Investment Authority transfers 10% of the state's revenue from oil into the fund.
