Russian-Kazakhsran Nanotechnology Venture Fund is a joint venture between Russian and Kazakhstan companies. Kazyna Capital Management, a wholly owned firm of Samruk-Kazyna, teamed with with VTB Capital and 12BF Holdings to create the JV. The fund hopes to receive a total of $100 million in funding from various sources. The fund will be initially capitalized with $50 million.[1] Kazyna Capital Management will contribute $25 million, while the remaining $25 million will be given by the two remaining partners. The fund will seek private investors. It will be managed by VTB and 12BF.
