Singapore Telecommunications Ltd or more commonly known as SingTel is a telecommunications company based in Singapore.
Temasek Holdings is the majority owner and has been since 1992. Temasek currently owns 51.9%. It owned owns 54.15% before selling off a 2.5% stake in September 2012 for around $1 billion.[1]
30.5 percent of Bharti Airtel is owned by SingTel.
The Government Pension Fund of Norway held a 0.14% stake in the company as of December 31, 2009. The stake is valued at $50,551,258.
