Sintonia SA ('Sintonia') is a holding company of the Benetton family that focuses on infrastructure investments. Sintonia holds investments in Italian highway operator Atlantia SpA, the country's largest telecoms operator, Telecom Italia SpA, and in Rome airport operator Aeroporti di Roma.
The Government of Singapore Investment Corporation holds 14.4% of the Sintonia. GIC holds this stake though its subsidiary GIC Special Investments Pte Ltd GIC increased its stake on March 12, 2008, by 3 percent due to a capital increase done by Sintonia.
Goldman Sachs Infrastructure Partners I holds 14.3% and Mediobanca SpA holds 4.8%. Italian Sintonia SpA owns the rest of the company with a 68% stake.
U.S. Goldman Sachs Infrastructure Partners I will each hold 14.3 pct, and Italian bank Mediobanca will have 4.8 pct.
