St Martins Property is a subsidiary of the Kuwait Investment Authority. The company was formed in 1924. It was acquired by the KIA in 1974. The firm has over dozen investments. They have focused on London with a few investments in New York and Paris. In the last year, the firm has made one investment in Turkey. They have showed signs of looking for investments in East Asia including China.
St Martins has a separate management team then the KIA; however, the KIA is made aware of any possible investments. The KIA's London office is located next door to St Martins' London office
St Martins appears to be selling some £900 million of their London assets in late 2010.
