BG Group is an oil and gas exploration group based in the United Kingdom.
On July 14, 2007, State Administration of Foreign Exchange bought a .46% stake in BG Group. The value was around £125 million. It was believe that the newly created China Investment Corporation would have the stake transfer to them; however, there is no evidence to suggest that the stake was transferred.
The Government Pension Fund of Norway held a 1.86% stake in the company as of December 31, 2009. The stake is valued at $1,135,224,114.
