Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company (Qatari Diar), a unit of the Qatar Investment Authority, purchased a 40% stake of Fairmont Raffles from Kingdom Holding Company on April 4, 2010. The QIA paid $847 million. The QIA holds some of the stake in its subsidiary Voyager Partners.
