Mukhaizna Oil Field

Mukhaizna Oil Field is a major oil field in Oman. The Mubadala Development Company owns a 15% stake in the field. It has held that stake since 2005. Mubadala controls the stake though its subsidiary, Liwa Energy. The fully development of the field is expected to cost $4.5 billion. It hopes to field 150,000 barrels per day by year 2012.
