Qatar Exchange

The Qatar Exchange is a joint venture between the Qatar Investment Authority and NYSE Euronext. The exchange was created out of the Doha Securities Market. The QIA controls 80% of the exchange while the NYSE controls the remaining 20% for which is paid $200 million. The deal was announced on June 19, 2009.
